The Buckingham

The Buckingham is one of London’s very grandest Victorian residential terraces, uniquely located on Buckingham Gate, directly adjacent to Buckingham Palace.

The scheme comprises eight apartments, branded under The Buckingham identity, and a single, seven-storey townhouse, branded under its own sub-identity, No.6.

The brand and identity for The Buckingham centred around two themes: craftsmanship and Britishness. The graphic identity of The Buckingham and the sub-brand, No.6, were a celebration of current and period styles of British design and decoration.

The production methods used to make the books and their housing relied heavily on highly skilled craft processes – box making, embossing, foiling and others – which, for the most part, were carried out by hand.
